Nous n'avons pas pu nous dire au revoir en direct , c'est dommage mais nous sommes très contents que tu aies pu enchaîner avec un autre voyage.

Quelle belle découverte pour nous le Maroc! Nous avons été charmés par les villes ,les paysages pleins de couleurs et trouvé ce pays très accueillant, très chaleureux. Wenche avait raison de nous inciter à venir. Le dépaysement a été complet avec seulement 3 heures de vol. 

Tu as bien choisi les logements, les restaurants, il faut que j'apprenne à cuisiner les tajines, mon amie Houria m'aidera!

Les 2 derniers jours se sont bien passés. Nous avons été contents de retrouver Latifa et son riad.  La visite d'Essaouira nous a beaucoup plu, c'est une ville très intéressante par son histoire, son artisanat , de plus très belle toute blanche et bleue avec sa grande plage et l'océan. 

Nous avons été éblouis par le jardin Majorelle et les toilettes dans le musée Yves St Laurent, et nous avons apprécié le musée Berbère.

Mais ce que j'ai préféré c'est le désert Merzouga, les trajets plus longs que prévus  en dromadaire, les repas sous la tente-restaurant avec un personnel très sympathique,  le concert sous les étoiles, le coucher et le lever du soleil  dans les dunes de sable roux et la nuit sous la tente- même avec la tempête de vent !

Merci de nous avoir servi de guide , merci pour ta gentillesse ,celle du chauffeur et des marocains que tu nous as fait rencontrer.

Nous racontons ce voyage autour de nous, j'essaierai de mettre mon avis sur les sites d'internet comme Tripadvisor. J'espère que cela t'amènera des clients.

As a mum of 2 small children (2 & 4) it felt like a risk booking through trip advisor. From the outset Said’s responsive, helpful replies reassured me we were in safe, caring hands. He replied in detail to all my many emailed requests and was clearly keen to get everything just right for us. Our outing with Said (trip to Tin Mal, pottery, local market) was the highlight of our holiday.

Our children adored him as he played airplane games and carried them round. At the market he bought us walnuts, oranges and sugar cane juice from his own pocket, and packs of stickers for the children.

The restaurant was rustic but the best food I had in Morocco. It was local experiences we never could have had without Said.

His arranged transport to and from Marrakech was timely, friendly, comfortable and cheaper than we could have found elsewhere.

I cannot recommend Said more highly. A golden family memory to treasure.

It's over six weeks since our experience with Said, and this feedback is long overdue! 

Said was detailed in the information he shared with us before the trip, he also assuaged my fears when I had cold feet - never taken up an experience like this, in unfamiliar territories too and we didn't know what to expect. 

Said met us on Wednesday, with the Muleteer Mohammed and the Mule - we nicknamed for the duration of our tour. 

We set out early, and it was worth it, walking through the villages, Said and Mohammed shared stories of life and the history of Ouirgane. We were fascinated. 

I was a bit hesitant to get on the Mule and loved it when I was on the Mule. Ha! 

Lunch with a traditional Berber family was the best authentic meal in Morocco. We learned to make Mint tea (with loads of sugar), and the lady of the house showed us how to make bread. Her garden was lush with so many fruits, so many stray cats (including a one-legged cat).

I am looking at pictures from this experience as I write this post, I have to say, it was a fantastic experience, we had no expectations, and we were pleasantly surprised. 

I'm recommending Said to you reading this post, to every friend we have going to Morroco and the world - open your eyes, open your heart and open your mind.
